Commit to the Process

I think I've read James Clear's "Atomic Habits" at least 5 times, and each time, I find a new gem. This is the one that jumped out at me last week:

"Ultimately, it is your commitment to the process that will determine your progress."

I love this, because it really drives home the difference between training and exercise. No wonder I disliked exercise so much growing up! It was hard, and I was constantly told I wasn't good at it!

But once I got a trainer and a program, once I had a partner looking out for my form and curating my results, I started really falling in love with the process. And that is when I finally started seeing success.

Consistency and commitment to the process is what gets results. Especially on the days I just don't feel like lifting.
